I have roses and a picket fence in my front yard. I sing. I act. I collect SSI. I'm actively Catholic, music ministry, lector, liturgy commission. I teach medieval martial arts. I sew and tailor. I read. I'm a true "Renaissance man," I'm interested in everything. I study history, political science, economics, astronomy, physics, and philosophy. I'm a considerate and passionate lover. I have three Georgia O'Keeffe prints on my walls. I cook. I cuddle. My neighbour's cat has adopted me. My priest's dog bit me. I once set my hair on fire in church (an accident.) I read Beowulf to my kids as a bedtime story. I love life and the living of it. I enjoy public displays of affection. I intend to live to be 125. My favourite jazz recording is Don Ellis's "Electric Bath." My favourite opera is "Rigoletto." My favourite author is Terry Pratchett. My favourite folksinger/songwriter is Stan Rogers. My favourite blues artist is B B King. My favourite Southern Gospel group is Signature Sound. My favourite Black Gospel group is Sweet Honey In the Rock. My favourite Ska group is Flogging Mollies. I love Shape Note/Sacred Harp singing. I love bagpipe music. I'm a sucker for a waltz. I have watched "Birth of a Nation" all the way through.

Who should you be? Adult, stable, reasonably well maintained. A reader, a thinker, a person with a passion for living. Not hung up sexually or afraid of intimacy. Not a drunk or druggie. A person who can find equal delight in a colored pebble or a rainbow. Someone who can appreciate the random moments of splendor, bald eagles rising from a road kill or lost balloons dancing in a field. A person more centered on people than things. Must love music.
